The Wharton County Junior College Foundation is excited to announce the Fifth Annual Super Science Alliance, taking place on Thursday, October 22, 2026, at the Bay City Civic Center.
As we celebrate five years of inspiring the next generation, this milestone event continues to connect junior high students across Matagorda County with exciting career opportunities in STEM. This year’s theme, “STEM Starts Here,” celebrates the idea that every great discovery, innovation, and career begins with curiosity and the opportunity to explore.
Since its inception, Super Science Alliance has grown into the most anticipated student events in Matagorda County. More than 500 students are expected to participate throughout the day, rotating through interactive exhibits where they will engage directly with local businesses, healthcare organizations, manufacturers, engineers, first responders, and other industry professionals. These hands-on experiences help students discover how STEM shapes the world around them while opening their eyes to rewarding careers available right here in our community.
To make this event possible, we are again seeking industry, healthcare, and community partners to join us as sponsors and exhibitors.
